Anne Ehresman - Executive Director

Anne joined Project Cornerstone in January, 2008, bringing 20 years of non-profit leadership that includes fighting childhood hunger, preventing child abuse, and developing housing and programs to help low-income families achieve self-sufficiency. Anne was previously Senior Vice President of InnVision the Way Home, overseeing programs serving 15,000 homeless and low-income families and individuals throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, with responsibility for all private and in-kind resource development of the $10.3 million budget. Anne holds a Master’s in Social Welfare from University of California at Berkeley and Bachelor’s degree from Brown University. In 2003, she received a fellowship to attend the Stanford Business School Executive Education Program for Non-Profit Leaders. Anne is Vice President of the Community Working Group Board of Directors, loves spending time with her family, and is an active volunteer in her children’s schools.
Linda Silvius - School Partnerships Director

With over 30 years experience in the education and non-profit sectors Linda leads Project Cornerstone’s School Partnerships program. In her prior role as Project Cornerstone’s Educational Consultant, she helped to guide the original process to develop and establish Project Cornerstone. She leads parent groups, trains teacher teams, and supports school administrators as they create action plans to infuse assets into their districts. She has had a variety of experiences building communities from owning her own bed and breakfast in Cape Cod to founding a women’s trades program through Goodwill Industries in Atlanta, GA.

Lori Maitski joined the Cornerstone team in January, 2004 as Coordinator of Parent Facilitators. She first became involved with Cornerstone as a parent facilitator for Taking Asset Building Personally (TABP) study groups in 2002. She currently works with all Cornerstone parent volunteers in the following areas: Asset Building Champions (ABC Parents), TABP Parent Facilitators, Los Dichos Parents, Lunch Time Fun, and Special Projects. Lori brings to Project Cornerstone seven years of experience teaching a bilingual kindergarten/first grade classroom and over ten years of active volunteerism in her children's schools. Aside from working part-time for Project Cornerstone, Lori enjoys helping other parents learn more about the asset approach to parenting, keeping track of her two busy teenagers and their dog Stormy, and spending time with her husband.
Deanna Pérez - Los Dichos Program Coordinator

Deanna leads our ever-growing work in supporting Spanish-speaking volunteers. She leads parent study groups, and trains volunteers in supporting youth in classrooms and leading workshops with peers. Deanna comes to Project Cornerstone with extensive experience in marketing and communications in the high-tech industry. She serves on the Sherman Oaks Charter Governing Council and is a Cub Scout Den Leader. She is the proud mother of two children.

Kelly first became involved with Project Cornerstone as a member of a Taking Asset Building Personally (TABP) study group in 2003. Next, she became a parent facilitator for TABP study groups. In 2006, Kelly joined the School Partnerships team at Project Cornerstone as a facilitator for the Expect Respect Workshops. In these workshops, Kelly assists students in grades 4-12 as they explore issues affecting student safety and support on their school campuses. Kelly’s prior experiences as an elementary school teacher and active parent volunteer in her children’s schools are helpful to her as she spreads the asset-building message with student groups, parent groups, and school staff.

Myrna joined the staff in January 2006. She is designing and setting up systems to support Project Cornerstone staff and activities. She brings over 20 years of administrative and systems experience to her new role. For ten years before joining Project Cornerstone,, she worked at the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley where she developed office and information systems at the Metropolitan office and the Central YMCA locations. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from San Jose State University. Myrna enjoys experimental cooking, long walks with her dog Laddie, and shopping on December 26th!

Elissa joined Project Cornerstone in 2007 with the dual mission of continuing our successful grant-seeking efforts and enhancing our communications and outreach to diverse audiences throughout Santa Clara County. She brings nearly two decades of experience as a professional writer and communications consultant, including several years developing technical marketing materials for companies in the high-tech and energy industries, serving as the founding editor of Marcom Magazine, and co-authoring of a series of technology books including Educator’s Guide to the Web for MIS:Press (now a division of IDG).
